Position Overview

Your Role

As a Dietary Aide with Qamry Staffing, you will help provide safe, nutritious meals while supporting residents’ individual dietary needs and preferences.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Serving meals according to residents’ diets and preferences
  • Maintaining proper food serving temperatures and meal-service timing
  • Preparing meals under the guidance of a cook or dietary manager
  • Assisting with preparation of salads, vegetables, fruits, and other foods
  • Loading and operating dishwashers
  • Cleaning dishes, trays, cooking utensils, pots, and pans
  • Following food safety, infection-control, fire-safety, and environmental procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and safe dietary work environment
  • Providing respectful and customer-focused service to residents

    Do I need CNO registration?

    Yes. A valid College of Nurses of Ontario registration without restrictions is required.

    This position requires at least one year of Canadian long-term care experience.

    Both full-time and part-time opportunities may be available depending on staffing needs.

    Placements are located within the Greater Toronto Area and require in-person attendance.

    Applicants should generally be available for approximately 3–6 eight-hour shifts per week.
