Position Overview

- Typical Availability: Approximately 10 shifts every 2 weeks
Your Role
As a PSW with Qamry Staffing, you will provide personal care and daily living support to residents who are elderly, ill, or require assistance with everyday activities.
Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with meals, bathing, grooming, and other activities of daily living
- Supporting resident comfort, safety, independence, and overall well-being
- Observing changes in resident behaviour, condition, or daily patterns
- Reporting changes to registered nursing staff
- Providing one-on-one support to residents
- Communicating with residents who may have language or other communication barriers
- Working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals in a long-term care environment

Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Have a valid PSW certificate, OR Hold an international nursing degree, OR Provide a first-year transcript from a Canadian nursing program
- Valid CPR certificate
- Proof of COVID Vaccine - 3 Doses is mandatory
- Vulnerable Sector Check or Police Check
- N-95 Mask Fit Test
